Highlights of U9-U10 - See Modified Rules due to U10 Coalition

• Ball size - four (4)
  
  

• Six (6) players including the goal keepers
  
  
• Substitutions at own possession , any goal kick or any score as well as 1 for 1 on an injury or any stoppage of play at referee discretion
  
  
• Rule infringements should be briefly explained to the offending player as well as hand signals
  
  
• Game is played in two (2) equal halves of twenty-five (25) minutes each
  
  
• There is NO OFFSIDE
  
  
• Absolutely no slide tackling - this is not discretionary - this is mandatory.
  
  
• Free kicks are all INDIRECT
  
  
• No penalty kicks - indirect kicks in the goal area would be placed on the line
  
  
• Throw-ins - feet down and over the head. No do-over - if illegal throw goes to opposing team
  
  
• Opponents must be eight (8) yards away from the ball before the ball is kicked
